<p>In response to inquiries, Filmcentral nsw coordinates the search for film and television locations throughout an area that covers approximately 35% of inland NSW. Inquiries are directed through the Project Officer, a person with many years experience in the film and television industries at a creative and administrative level.</p>
<p>The region embraces 22 Local Government Areas.</p>
<p>Filmcentral nsw is actively supported financially and with staff and resources by Councils of the region. The goal is to encourage greater use of the region's locations for film and television production as a vehicle for economic development. </p>
<p>Financial support for Filmcentral nsw is also provided by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development (DSRD).</p>
<p>An extensive Location Gallery is available plus a searchable Local Film Support Services database (Resources Section) that lists skills, services, facilities available to assist film and television production in each Local Government Area. </p>
<p>The Local Film and Television Directory (Resources Section)lists individuals living within the region who possess extensive film and television industry experience. Those listed are available to provide services to any production. </p>
