The region is highly adaptable to any storyline.
  3. DISTINCT SEASONS. Skeletal, snow covered trees of winter in the highlands, vibrant autumnal colours reminiscent of Europe, vast swathes of lush green crops in the spring and the dusky browns and reds of summer provide four variations to the rich diversity of locations on offer.
  4. TRANSPORT AND ACCOMMODATION. A stone's throw from Sydney is our catchcry. Excellent rail, road and air links throughout the region make it easy for productions to capitalise on the region's location diversity. How the Locations Gallery Works

The Locations Gallery is an extremely useful visual resource for anyone scouting locations to be used in Film and Television productions.

Locations in the Gallery are organised in to Categories and Sub-Categories. You can browse through these listings to find an appropriate spot.

Each Location has been assigned a detailed list of keywords, an “ambience”, as well as up to 8 photographs (each with time and season information).

The Gallery is searchable by keywords and ambience, which combine with search results containing thumbnail pictures and brief descriptions, to make “spotting” a location as efficient as possible.

Logging In - You need to Login to the Locations Gallery before you can use the database. Click on the Login/Register menu button and enter your Email address and Password. If you are a new user you will need to Register.

After entering your details and submitting the Registration Form you will be sent a confirmation email to the address you entered. You need to initialise your account by clicking on the link in the message, this will then send you a second email containing your password. There is an optional Map Search for finding locations within a particular geographic area.

Location Details - By default the first image for the location will be loaded, if there are additional pics they will appear vertically in the filmstrip on the left of the page.
